A very important day for all horse race fans. Today there was the Melbourne Cup http://www.melbournecup.com/. We are not sure if someone did work today in Australia 😉

We had a great flight from Sydney to Adelaide with Virgin; lucky we did not book any Qantas flights 🙂 We got our great car „Subaru Outback AWD“ in a blue colour. All our “small” luggage fits in perfect :-O

Our trip from Adelaide Airport to Cape Jervis took around 2 hours. But it was a beautiful drive, we enjoyed it very much. Nice hills and spots, beautiful view on the sea and surrounding. We felt in love with this great surrounding.
Alina was not really happy in the car.

Our home for one night is a big house called Morella Farm http://www.morellafarm.com.au/ . If you come from a almost 5 star hotel you have to get used to this style of living but the nature is great and the view just amasing. Alina likes the two horses which belong to the farm and the sheeps.
Now we are all very tired and looking forward to have a good sleep. Tomorrow we take the ferry which will bring us on to Kangaroo Island….
