Nach dem Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck ging es dann los Richtung Kangaroo Island. Es war sehr windig und ziemlich raues Meer; entsprechend verlief die \u00dcberfahrt einwenig &#8222;holperig&#8220;. \u00dcbrigens, beeindruckend wie die F\u00e4hre auch mit gr\u00f6sseren Fahrzeugen beladen werden (Bsp. Schafetransporter). Da hatte es z.T. nur ein paar Fingerbreite Platz zum n\u00e4chsten Auto&#8230; unser Auto ist das rote mittendrin gleich neben dem Transporter&#8230;;-)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.michelhome.ch\/?attachment_id=1152\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1152\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1152 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.michelhome.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_8492-683x1024-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8492-683x1024\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Auf der Insel angekommen, fuhren wir dann weiter zu unserem Hotel <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kiwr.com\" target=\"_blank\">K.I. Wilderness Retreat<\/a>, welches sich ca. 1.5 Stunden von Penneshaw (F\u00e4hre-Terminal) entfernt befindet. Dort werden wir dann f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten 3 N\u00e4chte unsere Zelte aufschlagen&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Auf dem Weg dorthin, machten wir noch einen kurzen Abstecher ins <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hansonbay.com.au\/visitor-centre-cafe\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary<\/a>. In diesem kleinen Park kann man viele freilebende Koalas sehen.
